Dual Wall

Dual wall heat shrink tubing is a cross-linked polyolefin tube that is extruded with an inner layer of adhesive. Upon recovery of dual wall heat shrink, the inner layer of adhesive will melt and flow.

In the dual wall or adhesive lined heat shrink category, CPA 300 stands out as a product that is well suited for many different applications. The product meets UL 224 and SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/4 standards with the flammability rating applying to the total tube (many products are rated as jacket only). It is also ideal for connector and terminal applications since the CPA adhesive is the strongest in the field for bonding to copper, steel, and polyethylene.
